This frog fell out of the tree where Rodney Davis, a writer and artist from southwest Virginia, met Frank Greenlee, a multi-engineer born in Egypt, at VPI in '71. Both being musicaians, the world would never be the same, at least for them.  Too far ahead of their time, their work has not been exposed to the world until now.

The Artists

Frank went on to found Gap Mountain Studio and in collaberation with Rodney produced a body of composed and improvised works loosely known as Gizmo.  Gizmo at times morphed into Local Talent when area musicians joined in.  Along with solo projects, a huge volume of completely original material was generated.

Once catalogued, our time capsule will hold this unique collection until the world is ready.

The Catalogue

As Original as you can stand

Many people are looking for the same old music, art, poetry and prose that soothes their longing for the past.  Others are always searching for something unusual, interesting, provocative, and dare we say - ORIGINAL- in their art and music. Artists overlooked, unknown, and so far ahead of their time that they will probably be rejected even to this day.
